Kicked Up S'mores

Here's a little fun recipe for your weekend!
Kicked Up S'mores

What you Need:
Belgian Waffle Cookies (or something similar) from Trader Joe's
Marshmallows
Chocolate
Sea Salt Caramel - also from Trader's

I consider myself to be a Professional S'mores Creator.
Yep, that's right!  A Professional!
Marshmallows have been my favorite food for as long as I can remember
as they must be treated with care and respect.
A perfect S'more must have 2 marshmallows to surround the chocolate to ensure prefect meltage (yep, that's official S'mores terminology - "meltage")
Toast the marshmallows to a nutty golden brown, preferably over an open camp fire.
When the marshmallows are just about to fall off your roasting stick because they are lava hot and gooey, it's time to assemble!
Belgian Waffle Cookie
Marshmallow
Chocolate
Marshmallow
Caramel drizzle
Belgian Waffle Cookie

There really isn't anything better than a Kicked Up S'more to end your day!
How do you kick up your s'mores?

  3. After your post I went out intentionally to get that sea salt caramel... and the lady at trader joe's told me they don't make it. Just regular caramel. I said but this can't be true... maybe another trader joe's carries different items? So do tell..did you make it into sea salt caramel yourself or did it come that way. Because if it exists this way, I just must try it and then that will probably be a very bad and good thing because I'm certain it will be a weakness.

    1. Hey Jackie,
it's Fleur de Sel Caramel Sauce. Fleur de Sel is a hand harvested sea salt.
I got mine at Trader's in Southern California - I still have some in my fridge, I hope they didn't discontinue it! It's amazing!!!
